Recognition must come from outside.
FILE X describes Alien X as a stranded traveler who survived Earth by disappearing into humanity. The world came to know the human identity. The archive asks a different question: what if Mars was never a destination?
Mars was home. SpaceX was the road. Starship was the Return Vehicle.
But Alien X cannot authorize his own return. Recognition has to come from others—and it has to leave evidence that no single government, company, or individual can rewrite.
To survive Earth, he had to remain hidden. To leave Earth, he had to be recognized.

$ALIENX has one meaning inside FILE X: Recognition. Holding the token represents a single independent acknowledgment: I recognize Alien X. Every independent holder becomes a Witness. The holder count becomes the Recognition Count.

As the actual Community Vault accumulates SPCX through the launch system's mechanics, FILE X treats that transparent state as the economic weight of the tether. The vault is not the Recognition Count. It is the second half of the signal.
